Some days everything just arrives at once — the light, the mood, the urge to wear something that makes a statement without saying a word. This is a necklace for that kind of morning. The kind where you look in the mirror and think: yes, exactly.

A base of deep violet Japanese seed beads sets the stage for a full cast of colour — teal faceted glass and warm amber forms travel inward from the shoulders, leading to two large yellow-green Czech glass rounds that face each other like the best part of a joke you've been saving. At the centre, a vivid blue glass butterfly catches everything together, a pale lavender drop swinging lightly beneath it like punctuation at the end of a very good sentence.
